Student at Loreto Secondary School Jane wins national Speech Writing Competition
5th year student from Loreto Kilkenny Jane Oyenuga was one of the overall winners in a national Action Aid Speech Writing competition. Jane was one of ten finalists chosen to deliver the speech which she wrote in Dublin on 3rd March last. Her speech on “women’s rights” was one of the two overall winners and her prize is a trip to Malawi in August. Her teacher is Ms Niamh Maye. This is a great achievement as over 30 schools took part in this competition and everyone in Loreto is very proud of Jane and this great achievement.
